Meet Kirsten Allen

Founder and CEO, KNA Strategies Inc.

Kirsten is a trusted advisor to global leaders navigating the most demanding environments across government, business, media, and culture. Drawing on experience at the highest levels of politics and government, she counsels executives and organizations on reputation and brand growth, executive positioning, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement.

Known for steady counsel in high-pressure moments, Kirsten has built and led teams that allow organizations to navigate complexity, build trust, and strengthen their position with key and desired audiences. She has a particular ability to translate complex policy, institutional priorities, and high-stakes decisions into clear, compelling messages that resonate with the people leaders need to reach — ensuring they communicate with clarity, credibility, and impact. Kirsten understands the critical nature of stakeholder engagement and finds new ways to identify and leverage relationships across media, culture, and politics to advance the desired outcomes of her clients.

Previously, Kirsten held senior leadership roles in the White House, Congress, and national campaigns. Her experience spans congressional oversight, federal crisis response, and national political strategy — work that required translating complex issues, investigative findings, and fast-moving developments into clear messages for the public and media. Most recently, as Senior Advisor and Communications Director to Vice President Kamala Harris, she led public engagement and strategic communications efforts, advising through moments of significant public scrutiny, crisis, and opportunity. Through KNA Strategies Inc., her strategic advisory practice, Kirsten advises principals, campaigns, and organizations on how to strengthen their public positioning, navigate high-stakes moments, and move key stakeholders toward action.
